Turner Tech Field trip to Virginia Key

34 students from Turner Tech High School went on a field trip to Virginia Key today. They scattered around much of the old black beach armed with video cameras, digitals, and plenty of curiosity. Three teachers from Turner Tech Mr. Jose Ugarte, history, Mrs. Chris Kirchner, English, and Mr. Eric Garner, communications, chaperoned somewhat loosely so as not to damper the students' curiosity. As we were leaving I heard a couple of the students telling Mrs. Kirchner "This is the best field trip we've ever had. We need to plan more like this." (click the pics below.)
